“WHO DO YOU SAY THAT I AM?”

One of the most important questions that has ever been posed to men is found in Mathew 16:13-15 where Jesus asked: “Who do you say that I AM?” His disciples offered various thoughts such as some say John the Baptist, and others Elijah, but still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets. Then Jesus asked Simon Peter, and he answered and said: “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God!”

That same question is being asked today – with more importance than it has ever held. Because in these last prophetic minutes of the Last Hour, the enemy has unleashed his masterful counterfeiting of the true Christ Who Alone is the Way, and the Truth, and the Life, while building up man in Garden of Eden persuasion.

This prideful enticement has altered the Gospel of Jesus Christ from presenting the Savior as man’s only hope of Salvation’s Promise in “new birth” Resurrection Power, through genuine repentance and trust in the Shed Blood of the Lamb of God on sinful man’s behalf – to being an access road to man’s own greatness – all in the Name of Jesus.

There is coming a day – and very soon – when every man and woman will stand before the scrutiny of the Living Word. Those who have been redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb will enter into Heaven’s Glory. But those who refused the love of the Truth so as to be Saved, and loved their own life more, will hear those piercing words of judgment: “I never knew you, depart from Me!”

The question must therefore be asked: “Who Do You Say Jesus Is?” Please be very sure, for your Eternal Destiny hangs in the balance of how you answer.
