“DISCERNMENT’S CRY!” - Part 1 (Do Not Be Deceived!)

Discernment goes hand in hand with knowledge – and knowledge is held in the revelation of God’s Truth. In order to recognize the many counterfeits and deceptions of the enemy, we must scrutinize carefully everything we see and hear to be certain that it is confirmed by God’s unadulterated Word of Truth.

In 1 John 4:1, we are given this sacred exhortation: “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

And in Hebrews 4:12: “For the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
